The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB)-I (Ilocos) conducted a training and technical assistance on Productivity-Based Incentive Scheme (PBIS) to employers and employees of Bacnotan, La Union on April 29, 2025 in Bacnotan, La Union.

Atty. Romina Boado-Cabrillos, RTWPB-I Board Secretary, led the discussion and assistance on the implementation of PBIS. She also presented the programs and activities of RTWPB-I.

PBIS is a workplace-initiated program on improving the productivity of workers and enterprises to generate savings or additional revenues, which can be shared by enterprises with their workers.

Through PBIS, businesses and organizations are motivated to implement performance metrics and incentive structures that directly reward both the management and personnel based on the achievement of specific business and organizational goals.

The session on PBIS was conducted by RTWPB-I together with the Technical and Advisory Visit led by the Department of Labor and Employment – Regional Office I.
