The RTWPB-IX held a productivity training on 7S of Good Housekeeping for workers in the informal sector on May 1, 2025 in Zamboanga City.
The training was organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) – Region 9, and held in celebration of the 123rd Labor Day.
Ms. Rowena Z. Gecaraya, Supervising Labor and Employment Officer of RTWPB-IX, provided a comprehensive discussion of 7S of Good Housekeeping and its importance on maintaining efficiency and improving productivity in the workplace.
7S of Good Housekeeping introduces a workplace organization method consisting of different approaches to maintain a tidy, clutter-free work area that fosters efficiency and improves productivity.
Various workers in the informal sector, who attended the training, include group beneficiaries or associations under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program, self-employed individuals, small-scale producers, unpaid family workers, and other workers in similar situations.
