7 MSMEs won in 2025 Regional Productivity Olympics in Eastern Visayas

Seven MSMEs won in the 2025 Productivity Olympics in Eastern Visayas.

The seven MSMEs qualified for the National Productivity Olympics are:

 

Agribusiness:

    • Bibar’s Farm (small category)
    • Baybay Dairy Cooperative (BDC) (medium category)

 

Industry:  

    • Weaves & Bows Bags and Accessories Shop (micro category)
    • Mary’s Abuyog Spesyal Tsokoleyt Moron Atbp. (small category)
    • Alto Peak Agriventures Corporation for industry (small category)

Service:

    • Sa-Natad Seafood Grill and Restaurant (micro category)
    • PASAR Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (PEMC) (medium category)

 

The Productivity Olympics Regional Screening Committee is comprised of the RTWPB-VIII and Mr. Florencio G. Aguilos Jr. as an industry expert.

The committee found that the awardees embody the two major criteria of business excellence, and employee engagement and empowerment for embracing and implementing productivity improvement programs, productivity-based rewards and incentives.

Based on the committee’s assessment, the awardees also value workers’ representation and participation, gender equality, social inclusion and sustainable development.

In his message, RTWPB-VIII Chairperson and DOLE Regional Director Atty. Dax B. Villaruel reminded the winners that the Productivity Olympics is not only a competition but an opportunity for MSMEs to grow and learn from the whole experience.
