RTWPB-I, along with other officers and staff from the NWPC and RTWPB, attended the Capacity Development on Basic Training and Facilitation: Training-of-Trainers (ToT) workshop in Pasay City from 2 to 6 June 2025.

The workshop focused on developing facilitation and presentation skills necessary for effectively training and empowering owners and workers of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to build sustainable businesses.

Dr. Shiela Viesca, CEO and founder of the leading corporate communications institute Talkshop, served as the resource speaker for the event.

During her presentation, Dr. Viesca emphasized the importance of thinking before speaking, highlighting that individuals should take a moment to pause and critically evaluate their responses to questions or messages.

She also discussed the significance of establishing a meaningful connection with the audience by being mindful of their “What’s in it for me?” mindset. This approach ensures that the content delivered is relevant, engaging, and responsive to the audience’s needs and interests.

The ToT workshop aims to disseminate knowledge and skills to MSMEs, thereby accelerating their growth and resilience.
