The RTWPB-X, in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office X, holds Usapang 2Ps: Pasahod at Productivity on 20 June 2025 in Cagayan De Oro City.
The Usapang 2Ps event, attended by 90 representatives from various industries, covered orientation on the DOLE Adjustment Measure Program (DOLE-AMP) for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), training on Inventory Management, and technical assistance on Designing Productivity-Based Incentive Scheme (PBIS).
Mr. Nicolo Lorenzo P. Cano, Administrative Assistant III of RTWPB-X, facilitated the training session on “Improving Productivity Through Inventory Management.” This training covers tracking the movement of goods and items and explores tools and digital technologies for MSMEs to improve business processes and optimize inventory systems.
Mr. Cano discussed the critical importance of effective inventory management, emphasizing how MSMEs can enhance their operations by improving stock monitoring and organizing storage that can both significantly reduce the time spent locating goods, and thereby enhancing customer service and satisfaction.
Mr. Boy T. Salinas, Supervising Labor and Employment Officer of RTWPB-X, led the technical assistance on designing the PBIS.

PBIS is a workplace-initiated program on improving the productivity of workers and enterprises to generate savings or additional revenues, which can be shared by enterprises with their workers. By implementing performance-based pay linked to productivity, both workers and employers benefit, as it elevate workers’ living standards while encouraging a more competitive and productive workforce.
Ms. Charisse Canios, Labor and Employment Officer III from DOLE X presented the DOLE-AMP, particularly on how to avail this assistance.
“RTWPB-X will check the completeness of submitted documents, assist MSMEs in preparing their project proposals for submission to DOLE X, and coordinate with them to address any deficiencies,” said Atty. Ma. Vergel B. Walag, Board Secretary VI of RTWPB-X.
Also present during the Usapang 2Ps are representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry Region 10 who guided the MSMEs in preparing project proposals aligned with the DOLE AMP Guidelines.
