RTWPB-V, in partnership with the DOLE Catanduanes Provincial Office, conducted a Cost and Pricing and Simple Bookkeeping Training for local tourist guides the at Binurong Point, Catanduanes on 24 June 2025.  

 The training aimed to strengthen the financial literacy and business management skills of Binurong Point Tourist Guide Association, a recognized beneficiary of the DOLE RO5 Demo Project. 

 Participants gained practical knowledge on cost computation, setting appropriate pricing for tour services and canteen food, and maintaining simple yet effective financial records. 

 RTWPB-V also provided them with columnar books to encourage the start of more formal record-keeping practices. 

 RTWPB-V Board Secretary Francia Ocmer said that through this partnership, DOLE and RTWPB continue to ensure that community-based enterprises are equipped with the tools they need to thrive in the local economy  

 “By empowering the members of the Binurong Point Tourist Guide Association with business fundamentals, the agencies reaffirm their dedication to long-term livelihood sustainability in the province of Catanduanes,” Board Secretary Ocmer said.  

 “This initiative is part of RTWPB-V’s continuing commitment to building productive and resilient enterprises by providing targeted capacity-building interventions,” she added.
