RTWPB-V, in partnership with the DOLE Catanduanes Provincial Field Office conducted trainings on enhancing productivity and supporting greener industrialization for micro, small, medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Virac, Catanduanes on 25 and 26 June 2025. 

 “This initiative reflects the shared commitment of DOLE and RTWPB-V to strengthen local business capabilities and promote sustainable practices,” RTWPB-V Board Secretary Francia N. Ocmer said.  

 Atty. Loretta Renie Fortuno, Mr. Raymond P. Escalante, and Mr. Eric G. Sanglay of RTWPB-V, facilitated the training which enhanced the financial literacy of Catanduanes-based MSMEs and encouraged the adoption of green productivity strategies. 

 Relevant and practical insights, especially in navigating the financial and ecological challenges of running a business in today’s evolving economic landscape were also discussed. 

 Improving Productivity Through Financial Analysis aims to help entrepreneurs and workers without formal accounting backgrounds understand basic financial indicators, manage costs, and make informed business decisions using simple financial analysis tools. 

 Meanwhile, Green Productivity Towards Greener Industrialization teaches the adoption of environmentally friendly practices that improve operational efficiency while reducing environmental impact, aligned with the principles of sustainable development.
