More than 50 workers of Panag-Asinan Agriculture Cooperative underwent ISTIV Productivity Awareness Program (ISTIV- PAP) training conducted by RTWPB-I in Bolinao, Pangasinan on 16 July 2025. 

The activity provided a values-driven human resource intervention for quality and productivity improvement by developing five key attributes in employees: Industrious, Systematic, Time-Conscious, Innovative, and a Strong Value for Work.  

Mr. John Paul Cariño of RTWPB-I emphasized the importance of having a proactive mindset and a culture of cooperation within the workplace. 

“Industrious and systematic workers are agents of change in their workplaces,” Mr. Cariño said. 

Meanwhile, Mr. Dino S. Dizon introduced participants to the importance of Productivity-Based Incentive Schemes (PBIS).  

PBIS is a workplace-initiated program on improving the productivity of workers and enterprises to generate savings or additional revenues, which can be shared by enterprises with their workers.  

“When workers are involved and appreciated, they become purpose-driven. And when they become purpose-driven, they bring value to the organization and increased productivity follows,” Mr. Dizon said. 

Mr. Gerard Khonghun, Director and Operations Manager of Pacific Farms, Inc. and Engr. Edgardo Cabusora, Chairman of Panag-Asinan Agricultural Cooperative were also present during the training.  (Dino S. Dizon)
