RTWPB-I joins DOLE-AIM’s Digital Transformation Training

August 27, 2025

RTWPB-I participated in the first batch of the baseline assessment of the Digital Transformation for program managers and implementers jointly organized by the DOLE and Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in Makati City from August 18 to 20, 25.

The activity aims to establish baseline metrics for digital transformation among MSMEs, and to equip program managers and implementers with innovative strategies for digitalization. It also serves as a preparatory step for the upcoming Digital Transformation Development Program for MSMEs, which will roll out in September.

Ms. Kathleen Agnes M. Mallare, ITO I and Sarah Marie Michelle P. Villamil, Senior LEO of RTWPB-I participated in the activity. RTWPB and DOLE Regional Offices CAR, II, III, CALABARZON, V, VII, and VIII also attended the event.

Participants engaged in sessions focused on digital tools, innovation strategies, and management-focused approaches to digital transformation.

The training is part of the broader DOLE-Adjustment Measures Program (DOLE-AMP), which seeks to future-proof MSMEs and enhance productivity through digital readiness. The DOLE-AMP is designed to enhance the productivity of MSMEs, support the welfare of their workers, and reduce and mitigate their vulnerability against economic disruptions. It is also part of DOLE’s commitment towards fostering regional economic growth and enhancing worker competencies in all regions. (Kathleen Agnes M. Mallare and Sarah Marie Michelle P. Villamil)
