RTWPB-I sent three micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), specifically, Bantog Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Halo-halo de Iloko, BBs Sweets Co., C&A Paradiso Beach Resort, Uncle Tom Food Product and Balai Norte Hotels & Resort to the Digital Transformation Development Training Program for MSMEs jointly organized by the DOLE and Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in Makati City from September 1-5, 2025.
This program aims to build the management and workers capacities to transition to digital business processes, adopt new technologies, and sustain business operations in the digital age. The program will also help participants empower themselves to become more competitive and sustainable in the evolving market landscape.
Participants are expected to attend and complete the full program, prepare and submit a digitalization action plan with proposed business enhancements and solutions for potential funding, demonstrate learning by implementing a productivity improvement program, provide quarterly status reports on the action plan, and allow the project management team to monitor and evaluate its implementation.
The training is part of the DOLE-Adjustment Measures Program (DOLE-AMP), which aims to support MSMEs. This program is designed to help MSMEs enhance their competitiveness by upgrading their skills and adapting to economic changes. (Judi Khenn C. Faustino-Mojica & Fredilyn M. Alag)
