Atty. Romina E. Boado-Cabrillos, Board Secretary of RTWPB-I and Atty. Judi Khenn C. Faustino-Mojica, Atty. IV, invites the public to attend the public hearing on the minimum wage determination on Aksyon Radyo and Bombo Radyo, La Union on September 9, 2025. 

The public hearing is set to take place on September 23, 2025, and aims to gather comments, feedback, manifestations, and recommendations from various sectors including labor groups, employers, organizations and other concerned stakeholders or interest groups. 

During the radio interview, Atty. Cabrillos and Atty. Mojica, emphasized the importance of involvement in the wage determination process. 

“Your presence is vital because we need you to share your thoughts and perspectives. We encourage everyone to participate,” Atty. Mojica said. 

Atty. Cabrillos also stated that there are various criteria set by the law in determining the minimum wage. She likewise said that the hearing will address socio-economic indicators and other relevant factors that influence minimum wage decisions.  

The Public Hearing is a crucial step in the process of determining the minimum wage, it is aimed at assessing the appropriateness of issuing a new Wage Order.  (Judi Khenn C. Faustino-Mojica)
