RTWPB-I conducts Better Mental Health for Better Productivity and ISTIV Training

RTWPB-I conducted a hybrid training on Better Mental Health for Better Productivity and ISTIV Productivity Awareness Program (ISTIV- PAP) for medical and administrative personnel of LUMED Hospital in San Fernando, La Union on October 21, 2025.

A total of 100 participants joined the training, both in-person and via Zoom. They represented various hospital units, encompassing both medical and non-medical

Atty. Judi Khenn C. Faustino-Mojica, Atty.IV, and Ms. Jessa Margareth R. Guzman-Madiam, Labor and Employment Officer III, facilitated the training.

Atty. Faustino-Mojica stressed the importance of understanding mental health and discussed the impact of mental health on employee performance, engagement, and overall workplace productivity. She likewise talked about the tools to foster resilience, promote self-care, and cultivate a supportive environment for the participants and others.

“It is vital to understand Mental Health to promote well-being and effectively address challenges that may occur in both personal and professional environments,” Atty. Faustino-Mojica said.

For the ISTIV PAP training, Ms. Guzman-Madiam outlined the concept of productivity and the productive work values that every worker should possess so he/she can help the company improve its productivity, become a valuable asset of the company and be successful in his/her career.

Ms. Guzman-Madiam also stressed the importance of improving the work culture, as it helps advance their business.

The Better Mental Health for Better Productivity provides a concise insight into the basics of mental health and its importance in the workplace. it provides employees and employers better understanding of common mental health risks and strategies for handling them.

ISTIV-Productivity Awareness Program provides a values-driven human resource intervention for quality and productivity improvement by developing five key attributes in employees: Industrious, Systematic, Time-conscious, Innovative, and a strong Value for Work. (Judi Khenn C. Faustino-Mojica)
