RTWPB-NCR successfully conducted a productivity training session and outreach program for members of the Metro Manila Persons with Disability Vendors Association (MMPWDVA) in Quezon City on December 9, 2025.
Twenty-six persons with disabilities (PWD) from the MMPWDVA attended the activity. The MMPWDVA is dedicated to promoting the rights and inclusion of PWDs in the business sector. The association aims to create a supportive environment for PWDs to participate in the economy and achieve their full potential.
Ms. Luchie Atienza, Ms. Janice Ann Fronda, Ms. Froi Angelique Romance, Ms. Emily Egos, and Mr. Robert Miranda represented RTWPB-NCR. Ms. Romance facilitated the Retail and Visual Merchandising training, which enhanced participants’ business skills through in-depth, meaningful, and inclusive instruction. The session explained the sales process and provided practical tips and best practices in visual marketing.
Ms. Atienza, Ms. Fronda, Ms. Egos, and Mr. Miranda led the outreach program, which featured a gift-giving activity as the main highlight.
Ms. Ma. Cristina Hebron, president of the MMPWDVA, underscored that meaningful change comes from consistent commitment rather than fanfare.
This initiative underscores RTWPB-NCR’s commitment to empowering the MSMEs and ensuring that marginalized sectors, including PWDs, benefit from productivity programs and services. (Joel Leonard M. Santarina)
