Tacloban City — The RTWPB-VII, in partnership with the DOLE Region 8, conducted a capacity building program for the first two batches of the DOLE–Adjustment Measures Program (DOLE-AMP) beneficiaries on February 03, 2026.
The training focused on Lean Management Systems and Productivity Enhancement for Business Operations, providing participants with practical knowledge and tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational waste. Beneficiaries gained valuable insights on how lean principles can improve their productivity and competitiveness.
The activity aimed to strengthen business operations by empowering AMP beneficiaries with strategies that support smarter resource utilization and continuous improvement. By adopting these approaches, participants are better positioned to improve service delivery, optimize workflows, and achieve long-term business growth—outcomes that align with the broader goal of meaningful public service and economic resilience.
The DOLE–AMP continues to pave the way for stronger and more productive MSMEs through similar capacity building programs. (Joben S. Sabay)
