Executive Director Maria Criselda R. Sy, Director Elvira P. Jota, and Mr. Jerome P. Lucas represented the NWPC in the 2018 Labor Day event graced by the President at IC3 Convention Center in Cebu City, Cebu.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Silvestre H. Bello III led the 116th Labor Day celebration with the theme “Pagpupugay sa Manggagawang Pilipino: Dangal ng Lahi, Kabalikat sa Progresibong Pagbabago” which highlighted the contribution of Filipino workers around the world.
