The NWPC joined the 7th DOLE Research Conference held at the Hotel Jen, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City on November 28-29, 2018. NWPC Director Alvin B. Curada, presented the results of the research entitled “Compensation Scheme of Fisherfolks in Small-Scale Commercial Fishing Industry” as one of the topics under the social protection session.
The research conference provides a forum for DOLE’s bureaus, services, and attached agencies for discussion and presentation of researches which tackle the four pillars of decent work, namely employment, rights at work, social protection, and social dialogue.
