RTWPB III discussed the latest socio-economic indicators and development updates in the region during its regular board meeting on February 8, 2022.

RTWPB Vice Chairperson and NEDA Regional Director Gina T. Gacusan presented data on inflation and purchasing power of peso, labor market, agricultural production, regional investments and poverty incidence.

Regional Director Gacusan also presented NEDA’s Proposed 10-Point Policy to Accelerate and Sustain Economic Recovery. Priority policy is to accelerate vaccination and to expand it to children ages 5 to 17 when allowed. Also highlighted is the policy to further re-open the economy and expand public transport capacity.
