NWPC goes on into the new year full of hope and yet facing further challenge due to the outbreak of COVID-19’s Omicron variant starting in late December 2021. It was unfortunate that some CO personnel were not spared from the highly contagious variant, despite heightened diligence.

It was in this premise that the NWPC and RTWPBs joined in a virtual get together in the tradition of last year’s eKamustahan sessions on January 5 entitled Bagong Taon, Bagong Pag-Asa. Anong Bago Sayo? It was a sharing of updates from each office regarding their accomplishments, 2022 plans, and most importantly, the health status of all personnel.

After the sharing, Atty. Jamie-lyn D. Jamias discussed IATF’s Resolution No. 155, series of 2021 along with the Department of Health’s Administrative Order 2021-0043 or the Omnibus Guidelines on the Minimum Public Health Standards for the Safe Reopening of Institutions.
