Bicol-based MSMEs recognized in 2025 Regional Productivity Olympics
Eleven micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bicol were recognized by RTWPB-V for their achievements in productivity improvement and practices at the 2025 Regional Productivity Olympics Awarding Ceremony in Legazpi City on 11 July 2025.
The awarding ceremony was held during the Bicol MSME Conference 2025 which gathered entrepreneurs, government agencies, business support organizations, and industry stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue, exchange ideas, and strengthen support systems for MSMEs in the region.

“These winners exemplify what it means to innovate with purpose and produce with excellence,” said RTWPB-V Regional Director Imelda F. Gatinao. “They are proof that even small enterprises can make a big impact when guided by productivity principles and a commitment to continuous improvement.”
Board Secretary Francia Ocmer said that this recognition is not just an award—it is a celebration of the resilience, creativity, and dedication of our Bicolano entrepreneurs.
“Through this, we hope to inspire more MSMEs to adopt productivity frameworks that lead to sustainable growth. RTWPB-V extends its congratulations to the winners and acknowledges the crucial role MSMEs play in boosting the region toward inclusive and innovative economic progress” Board Secretary Ocmer said.
The 12 regional winners will now serve as Bicol’s entries to the national level of the Productivity Olympics 2025, where they will compete with other regional champions from across the country.
The Productivity Olympics is a national biennial competition organized by the NWPC to recognize MSMEs with outstanding productivity improvement practices that promote decent employment, inclusive growth, and enterprise development. (Rizza Jane Z Deblois)
