Cagayan Valley-based MSMEs hailed in 2025 Regional Productivity Olympics

Fifteen micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) were recognized by RTWPB-II for their achievements in productivity improvement and practices at the 2025 Regional Productivity Olympics Awarding Ceremony in Baguio City on 17 June 2025.  

 RTWPB II Chairperson and DOLE Regional Director Jesus Elpidio B. Atal, Jr. praised the winners as proof that hard work pays off.  

 “Productivity is more than a buzzword. It is a value we live by—a standard that drives our micro, small, and medium enterprises to become engines of inclusive and sustainable development,” Regional Director Atal, who also sits as 2025 PO Regional Committee Chairperson, said.  

 Atty. Jean Ben G. Singson, who delivered the keynote address on behalf of Isabela Governor Rodito T. Albano III, renewed the province’s commitment to empowering local businesses and promoting regional economic growth.  

 This year’s winners were David’s Agribusiness, Grandeza Integrated Farm Inc., FDN Integrated Farm, Multicuisine Corporation, BH Roque Integrated Farm for the Agribusiness sector; Wall’s Delicacies, CE’s Food Products, RLGV Fruit Wine Industry, 3SHER’S Food Products, C.E.C. Food Ventures, and Susan’s Bakeshop for the Industry sector, and Minerva Farms Hotel Resort; Humming Strawberry Farm; AZ Automotive Zolutions Car Care Center; and Top Achievers Private School, Inc. for the Service sector. 

 They were awarded a plaque of recognition, a certificate of commendation, and a cash prize.  

 RTWPB II Vice Chairpersons DTI Regional Director Ma. Sofia Narag and NEDA Region II Regional Director Dionisio Ledres, Jr. (joining via Zoom), alongside Management Representative Mr. Gary Ka Hong Uy Chong and Labor Sector Representatives Mr. Jesus Villamor and Mr. Johnny Alvaro attended the event.  

 The event also recognized the Technical Working Group (TWG) members and other stakeholders who contributed to the success of the regional search.  

 Among those honored was CDA R2 Regional Director Atty. Jovilyn M. Gaffud-Marquez, DTI Provincial Director Atty Cyrus Restauro and DOLE Provincial Director Reginald Estioco, who received a certificate of appreciation on behalf of their respective agencies.  

 The Productivity Olympics is a national biennial competition organized by the NWPC to recognize MSMEs with outstanding productivity improvement practices that promote decent employment, inclusive growth, and enterprise development. 

 The regional awardees become official nominees for the national Productivity Olympics, where they will compete against the best of the best from across the country.
