CALABARZON MSMEs recognized in 2025 Regional Productivity Olympics

Nine micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in CALABARZON were awarded for achievements in productivity improvement and practices at the 2025 Regional Productivity Olympics Awarding Ceremony in Calamba City, Laguna on 17 June 2025.  

This year’s winners were Sentrong Pamilihan “Procy” ng Produktong Agricultura sa Quezon Foundation Inc. for the Agribusiness Sector, Mira’s Turmeric Products, GAP Packaging Solutions, Tropical Palm Herb Manufacturing, Villa Socorro Farm, Pric Mpc Pinagdanlayan Rural Improvement Club Multi-Purpose Cooperative, and  Nuvali Steel Processing Center, Inc. for the Industry Sector, and Dalcielo Restaurant and Bakery, and Blink Creative Studio for the Service Sector.  

Atty. Erwin N. Aquino, DOLE Regional Director and RTWPB IV-A Chairperson, emphasized the importance of acknowledging businesses that not only survive but also thrive through innovation and people-centered practices.  

“These enterprises not only demonstrate remarkable efficiency in their operations but also consistently introduce fresh ideas that push boundaries, setting a benchmark for others to follow,” DOLE Regional Director Aquino said. 

Similarly, DTI Regional Director Marissa C. Argente commended the winners for their success, attributing it to values such as hard work, innovation, and a strong sense of community spirit. 

The Productivity Olympics is a national biennial competition organized by the NWPC to recognize MSMEs with outstanding productivity improvement practices that promote decent employment, inclusive growth, and enterprise development. 

The regional awardees become official nominees for the National Productivity Olympics where they will compete against the best of the best from across the country.
