RTWPB XI teamed up with DOLE Regional Office IX in a gift-giving event called Project Angel Tree in celebration of DOLE’s 87th founding anniversary on December 08, 2020.
Project Angel Tree is a component of the DOLE Child Labor Prevention and Elimination Program that provides an array of items and services for children such as food, clothing, educational assistance and school supplies. It aims to improve the economic and social conditions of child laborers and their families and increase the number of allies and advocacies of child labor prevention and elimination.

PUBLIC HEARINGS DONE IN NEGROS, BOHOL
RTWPB VII conducted wage public hearings in Dumaguete and Tagbilaran City on April 12 and 13, respectively. Worker groups, employers’ associations and government sector representatives from Siquijor, Negros Oriental, and Bohol gathered to discuss the wage petition in the region.
The Board is set to conduct wage public hearings in Cebu City and Bogo City in Cebu on May 9-10, 2018, its Wage Order having reached its anniversary date last March 10.

The NWPC conducted Retail Service and Lean Management trainings in Bauko, Mt. Province and Legazpi, Albay on April 25, 2018.

NEW WAGE ORDER FOR WORKERS IN CALABARZON
Minimum wage earners in private establishments in CALABARZON received a basic wage increase of P9.00 to P24.50 upon effectivity of Wage Order No. IVA-18 on April 28, 2018. This brings the new minimum wage to a range of P317 to P400 in non-agriculture; P303 to P372 in agriculture sector; and P303 in retail/service establishments regularly employing not more than 10 workers.
The new wage order brought all the minimum wage rates to levels not lower than the region’s 2015 poverty threshold. Further, there will only be one rate for the agriculture sector in each area and the remaining tranches...
RTWPB-III LAUNCHES PROJECT “DITAK KABIYASNAN”
To provide information access to micro and small establishments, RTWPB-III launched Project “Ditak Kabiyasnan” on March 24, 2017 in Angeles, Pampanga.
“Ditak Kabiyasnan” is a Kapampangan term for “small knowledge”, which the Board conceptualized to enhance access of small establishments to basic information on wages and productivity. The project was also in response to the call of DOLE Region III Director and RTWPB Chairperson Atty. Ana C. Dione for the Board Secretariat to intensify their information campaign.
