GESI, Wage Distortion and BCRP for July 2022 Learning Sessions

NWPC continues its series of online learning sessions. On June 29, 2022, Atty. Eric Paul D. Peralta, Assistant Professor at the University of the Philippines – Los Banos, talked about Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion. He taught about how gender equality brings out a better environment in the workplace. Two hundred fifty-four (254) online participants attended the lecture. Atty. Peralta is a certified member of the National GAD Resource Pool of the Philippine Commission of Women.

On July 13, Atty. Grace Mana-ay Badilla, chief of the Review, Appeals, and Legal Division (RALD), presided over the learning session on Correcting Wage Distortion. She presented the different formulas and approaches on how to compute the right wage increase for workers affected by wage distortions. 37 online participants attended this session.

Lastly, Mr. Enrique Reyes Jr. of the Training and Technical Services Division (TTSD), discussed the module on Business Continuity and Resiliency Planning: Driving Productivity in the Better Normal to 198 online participants last July 20. The module is a guide for enterprises to develop and implement business continuity and resiliency plans to cope with the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
