Tacloban City — Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Eastern Visayas joined a two-day writing workshop for Adjustment Measures Program (AMP) conducted by the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office VIII (DOLE RO VIII) on 3-4 July 2025.
The activity was facilitated by DOLE RO VIII, Bureau of Labor and Employment and RTWPB-VIII to assist MSMEs in preparing project proposals for the DOLE AMP funding. The workshop is part of a broader effort to help businesses improve their resilience and productivity amid economic and social disruptions.
The DOLE AMP provides financial assistance ranging from ₱500,000 to ₱1.5 million to support projects that may include business enhancement, capacity-building, just transition strategies, productivity improvement, labor compliance, and industrial peace-building efforts.
All participants are nominated as MSME beneficiaries of DOLE AMP in Eastern Visayas. Each MSME is tasked with completing accreditation requirements, such as organization profiles, registration documents, financial reports, and proof of past project implementation. These documents must be submitted on or before July 3, 2025 as part of DOLE AMP qualification process.
The training workshop is a critical step in empowering the local enterprises to craft effective and fundable projects that will support sustainable growth and competitiveness. The training highlights DOLE’s ongoing commitment to supporting MSMEs in navigating economic shifts while fostering inclusive development in the region.
