NWPC, through its Financial and Management Division (FMD), was awarded the 2018 Most Outstanding Accounting Office Award by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP) at the Atrium Limketkai Center in Cagayan De Oro City on October 23, 2019.

AGAP recognizes government accounting offices for their best practices and high quality financial reports, upon the recommendation of the Commission of Audit (COA).
