The NWPC was recognized as one of the Most Outstanding Accounting Office by the Commission on Audit at the Atrium Limketkai Center, Limketkai Drive, Cagayan de Oro City on October 23, 2019.

Executive Director Maria Criselda R. Sy and FMD Chief Editha M. Saus received the award in behalf of the Commission.

The award was given to NWPC for the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of its financial reports. Prior to this, the NWPC was also a recipient of eNGAS/eBudget System Gallantry Award by the Government Financial Management Innovation Circle, Inc. on June 19, 2019.
