The RTWPB-I, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) – Region I, conducted a learning session on Republic Act No. 10361 or the Batas Kasambahay during the celebration of Araw ng Kasambahay last January 18, 2026 at the Balikbayan Hall, Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center, Pangasinan.

The activity aimed to provide services and assistance to kasambahay, particularly through the dissemination of the provisions of the Batas Kasambahay. The celebration sought to promote greater awareness of the law and further strengthen its effective implementation.

A total of 181 participants from various parts of Pangasinan joined the celebration. Board Secretary VI Atty. Romina E. Boado-Cabrillos provided a detailed discussion of the Batas Kasambahay, highlighting its implications, the rights of domestic workers, and measures to ensure their welfare. (Fredilyn M. Alag)
