RTWPB-I welcomed Mr. Dominador M. Tuvera, Board Member representing the workers’ sector, on 15 July 2025 following a ceremony for outgoing representative Samuel G. Eslava.  

Mr. Tuvera thanked the RTWPB-I and the secretariat for their warm welcome, vowing to “continue strengthening the rights and welfare of workers across the country.”   

Mr. Eslava, likewise, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve as a Board Member for the workers’ sector.   

“To all the discussions, all gatherings, thank you, sa lahat ng na-impart ninyo. I have learned a lot,” Mr. Eslava said.  

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 6727 or the Wage Rationalization Act, the Regional Boards shall be composed of the DOLE Regional Director as Chairperson, NEDA and DTI Regional Directors as Vice Chairpersons, and two representatives each from the employer and labor sectors.
