RTWPB-II conducted an Usapang 2Ps: Pasahod at Productivity information and advocacy session on 07 November 2025 for 55 members of a labor-management cooperation (LMC).

The Partnership of Workers and Employers in Region 2 (POWER2) is a recognized LMC practitioner group working in close coordination with the National Conciliation and Mediation Board Regional Branch II (RCMB2) to foster industrial relations across the Cagayan Valley Region.

RTWPB-II discussed salient provisions of Wage Order No. RTWPB-2-24, particularly the updated minimum wage rates, the scope and coverage of the wage order, and the socioeconomic considerations that informed its issuance.

The processes and qualifications for wage exemption, identification and correction of wage distortion, and the proper procedures for requesting facility evaluations to ensure compliance with mandated wage rates and benefits were also discussed.

RTWPB-II also emphasized the importance of Productivity-based Incentive Schemes as a complementary approach to wage adjustments. The Board tackled how enterprises may implement gainsharing mechanisms, performance-based incentive programs, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency while promoting worker engagement and shared gains.

Participants, likewise, raised concerns, sought clarifications, and provided insights based on their experiences in workplace management and labor relations. (Francis Joseph M. Reyes)
