Representatives from the RTWPB-NCR and the DOLE-NCR participated in a three-day Baseline Assessment on Digital Transformation for Program Managers and Implementers, held from August 26 to 28, 2025, at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Campus in Makati City.
The program, organized through the collaboration of the DOLE, NWPC, Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) and AIM, seeks to equip program managers and implementers with strategies to accelerate digital transformation efforts among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Over the course of the sessions, participants gained a deeper understanding of the importance of digital transformation in boosting MSME competitiveness. They were introduced to practical tools for addressing risks through cybersecurity and data privacy learning sessions, while also exploring approaches to adapt business models for success. The activity also highlighted the use of results-based monitoring and evaluation, along with effective mentorship strategies to guide MSMEs in their digital journey.
RTWPB-NCR Director and Concurrent Board Secretary Jerome Yanson, Supervising Labor and Employment Officer Ms. Jackilyn G. Borja, and Information Technology Officer Mr. Joel Leonard Santarina participated in the activity.
