RTWPB-NCR successfully conducted a specialized training on the 7S of Good Housekeeping for members of the Bigay Buhay Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BBMC) in Caloocan City on October 16, 2025.
Ms. Luchie Atienza and Ms. Emily Egos of the RTWPB-NCR facilitated the training at the invitation of the Department of Trade and Industry – National Capital Regional Office (DTI-NCRO).
Persons with Disabilities (PWD) employees and workers of BBMC’s existing Shared Service Facility (SSF) projects, along with their family members and members of the Local Economic Resource Center (LERC) community participated in the training.
Ms. Atienza delivered a comprehensive overview of the 7S framework, focusing on Sort, Systematize, Sweep, Standardize, Safety, Self-discipline, and Sustain activities. She highlighted practical applications, including optimizing workspaces to ensure safety, reducing waste, and fostering an inclusive workplace.
She also emphasized the importance of designing systematic organizational measures that consider the specific needs of all workers, especially PWDs, and addressed common challenges in 7S implementations. Practical, proven strategies to overcome difficulties and improve efficiency, productivity, and safety outcomes in the workplace were also discussed.
This collaborative effort between RTWPB-NCR and DTI-NCRO highlights Bagong Pilipinas’ shared commitment to creating workplaces that are inclusive and compliant with organizational standards, ensuring that all employees, including marginalized groups such as PWDs, are safe, supported, and empowered.
