RTWPB-NCR officially launched “AI sa Bagong Pilipinas: MSME Digital Empowerment through AI-Enhanced Training and Coaching” on June 27, 2025. This newly launched training aims to equip MSMEs in NCR with the skills and tools needed to thrive in an ever-evolving digital business landscape.

The pilot training program was conducted by ILO-trained RTWPB-NCR trainers, Mr. Joel Leonard Santarina and Ms. Luchie Atienza. The program aims to boost productivity and competitiveness among MSMEs by harnessing Artificial Intelligence. Through specialized training and coaching sessions, business owners and employees will learn how to effectively utilize and integrate AI solutions into their daily operations, encompassing areas such as marketing, customer service, inventory management, and business analytics, among others.

This training is part of the RTWPB’s mandate to enrich Filipino MSMEs by promoting Innovative training sessions aimed at fostering practical productivity improvement strategies. By empowering MSMEs with AI-driven tools and strategy, RTWPB-NCR can help build a more productive and future-ready workforce.

The launch event was conducted in partnership with the NWPC, DOLE-NCR Makati Pasay Field, and DTI-NCRO and attended by business owners, managers, and workers representing 17 MSMEs.

The program will continue in the coming months and aims to achieve a ‘Zero to AI Hero’ approach among beneficiaries. (Joel Leonard M. Santarina)
