Domestic workers in the National Capital Region (NCR) are expected to receive a wage increase effective 07 February 2026, following the issuance and publication of Wage Order No. NCR-DW-06 on 21 January 2026.

The wage order increases the monthly minimum wage for domestic workers by P800, raising it from P7,000 to P7,800.

To ensure broad awareness and effective implementation of the new wage rate, RTWPB-NCR shall further strengthen its information dissemination and advocacy initiatives by posting materials on its social media account, conducting orientations and briefings, and coordinating with DOLE field offices in the region, local government units, and other stakeholders. These efforts aim to reach both kasambahays and household employers, clarify their rights and obligations under the wage order, and encourage sustained compliance.

RTWPB-NCR likewise reiterates its commitment to working closely with DOLE Regional Office to support monitoring and address concerns arising from the implementation of the wage order. (Atty. Queen Therese D. Espinas)
