RTWPB-V, in partnership with the DOLE-Masbate Provincial Field Office, conducted an Employee Engagement Training in Masbate City on 18 June 2025 as part of efforts to promote productivity and workplace harmony.
The training aimed to strengthen the understanding of local businesses and employees on the vital role of employee engagement and organizational commitment in driving productivity and long-term success.
Rizza Jane Deblois and Jaymar P. Detoito of RTWPB-V served as resource speakers.
They highlighted practical strategies for fostering motivation, improving communication, and encouraging greater involvement among employees. Both emphasized that when employees are engaged, they are more likely to align their efforts with organizational goals—resulting in better performance and a more resilient workforce.
“When employees feel valued and involved, they contribute more meaningfully to the growth of the organization,” RTWPB-V Board Secretary Francia Ocmer said.
Participants from various sectors actively engaged in discussions and activities that underscored the importance of nurturing a positive work culture built on trust, recognition, and shared purpose.
The activity forms part of RTWPB V’s continuing advocacy to strengthen productivity awareness and empower enterprises in the Bicol Region through capacity-building interventions.
Improving Productivity through Employee Engagement focuses on helping MSMEs recognize the value of actively involving their employees and offers practical techniques for implementing effective engagement activities to boost overall productivity.
