September 24, 2025

Makati City — Program managers and implementers from across the country took part in the Baseline Assessment on Digital Transformation for Program Managers and Implementers, organized at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Makati City. The first batch of training was held last August 18–20, 2025, followed by the second batch on August 26–28, 2025.

From the Bicol Region, participants of the first batch included Francia N. Ocmer, Board Secretary, and Rizza Jane Deblois, Information Technology Officer I, of RTWPB V, together with Assistant Regional Director Atty. Nepomuceno A. Leaño II, Ms. Ching Banania, and Ms. Ma. Cecilia Mangampo from DOLE Regional Office V.

According to Ms. Ocmer, the training provided valuable insights on how program managers can strengthen the implementation of productivity initiatives in the digital era. “The sessions helped us understand how digital tools can be maximized to make program delivery more efficient and responsive to stakeholder needs,” she said.

Ms. Deblois also shared her learning experience, noting that digital transformation goes beyond technology. “It’s about changing the way we think, collaborate, and innovate in delivering programs for MSMEs and workers,” she emphasized.

Participants are expected to apply the knowledge gained by integrating digital solutions in program planning, monitoring, and evaluation, ensuring that productivity advocacy remains relevant and future-ready.

This initiative demonstrates DOLE and NWPC’s continuing commitment to empowering its program managers and implementers, enabling them to lead MSMEs and stakeholders toward sustainable growth in the digital age.
