RTWPB-VII awards regional Productivity Olympics winners in Central Visayas

The RTWPB-VII recognized 10 outstanding micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at the awarding ceremony of the Regional Productivity Olympics 2025 on 10 June 2025 in Cebu City.   

For Agribusiness, Bez Acre Farm Products Wholesaling won under the micro category, Cebu Province Mushroom Growers Agriculture Cooperative and Kawayan Collective Agriculture Cooperative, both for small category.   

For Industry, Feb20 Enterprises and JN Cacao Food and Beverage Store won under micro category; AMCHA Multipurpose Cooperative and Rachael N Jhundy’s Homemade Food Products, under small category; and RNC Marketing Philippines for medium category.   

Café Collective Co. Inc. (Uke Hub) and SBK Construction Inc. won under Service sector for micro and medium category, respectively.   

During the ceremony, each winner presented their productivity journey, highlighting business excellence by underscoring productivity improvement programs, and various productivity initiatives for employee engagement and empowerment.   

DOLE Regional Director Roy L. Buenafe, RTWPB-VII Chairperson, said the ceremony is not just a recognition of the winners, but a commendation of their achievements as MSMEs. “Productivity Olympics 2025 awarding ceremony is a collective success to all of your combined efforts that led us to this day and may the celebration encourage us all to work smarter, grow stronger, and build a more inclusive and productive future,” said Regional Director Buenafe.  

Productivity expert Engr. Rogelio Lim said he made sure that RTWPB-VII sends only the most fit among all the candidates, capable of the more grueling panel interview during the national screening.  

Representatives from DOLE, RTWPB-VII Board Members, employer groups, labor sector, and guests from other government agencies who were instrumental in the winners’ competition journey also attended the event.  

The regional winners will be endorsed to the NWPC,and will compete with the top-performing enterprises from other regions. The 2025 Productivity Olympics national winners will be announced in October 2025, the productivity month. 

The Productivity Olympics, launched in 2008, is an advocacy program of the NWPC and the RTWPBs to promote productivity and quality and to showcase the best productivity improvement programs and practices of MSMEs nationwide.  

The objective of the competition is to promote productivity and quality, encourage healthy and positive competition, and bridge opportunities for expansion and growth of enterprises by showcasing the best productivity improvement initiatives of MSMEs nationwide.
