The RTWPB-VIII conducted a training on “Starting and Growing Your Online Business” to Palompon Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PACCI) on 18 June 2025 in Palompon, Leyte. 

 The training on “Starting and Growing Your Online Business” covers basic knowledge of online business models and teaches strategies for enhancing online business productivity. It teaches local entrepreneurs and aspiring online business owners with practical strategies on how to build, launch, and sustain an online presence. 

 Participants were oriented on techniques in identifying online market opportunities, creating digital storefronts, leveraging social media platforms, and implementing productivity-enhancing practices.  

 “In this digital age, it is absolutely essential for your business to have an online presence. If your customers and potential customers don’t see you online, you could be losing out on opportunities to increase your sales,” said Mr. Joben Sabay, who conducted the training for PACCI.  

The training, conducted to celebrate PACCI’s 50th anniversary, aligns with its ongoing commitment to empower its members through financial literacy, cooperative values, and entrepreneurship. According to PACCI, equipping their members with online business skills is a crucial step toward future-proofing the cooperative’s community.
