RTWPB-X, in partnership with the Food Processors’ Association of Northern Mindanao (FOPANORMIN), conducted a training on “Improving Productivity Through Inventory Management” on October 29, 2025, at the DOLE-X Activity Center along Corrales Avenue, Cagayan de Oro City as part of efforts to enhance enterprise productivity in Northern Mindanao.
Around 25 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) participated in the session led by RTWPB-X Board Secretary Ma. Vergel B. Walag. She began her discussion by introducing the Adjustment Measures Program (AMP), which supports business resilience by upgrading worker competencies and helping enterprises navigate economic changes. Mr. Nicolo Lorenzo P. Cano facilitated the technical training.
Improving Productivity Through Inventory Management covers tracking the movement of goods and items and explores tools and digital technologies for MSMEs to improve business and optimize inventory systems.
The training covered essential concepts such as inventory control, demand forecasting, and process improvement, emphasizing how sound inventory practices can reduce costs, streamline workflows, and improve overall business productivity.
