The RTWPB-XI conducted a productivity training on the 7S of Good Housekeeping for over 50 personnel of Brokenshire College, a prominent educational institution in Davao City, on October 21, 2025.
Various unit heads from all levels, including members of the janitorial staff, joined the training. Prior to the session, attendees shared that the institution had previously implemented the 5S of Good Housekeeping. This familiarity allowed the facilitators to effectively contextualize the training and introduce the two additional components of the 7S framework—Safety and Sustain—which enhance workplace discipline and long-term organizational efficiency.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Kenneth Paul Recaña and Ms. Ivory Diane Genovia of RTWPB-XI. Participants actively engaged in the discussions, reflecting on current practices within the institution and identifying areas for improvement. Many attendees expressed enthusiasm in learning new concepts and were diligent in documenting key insights throughout the session.
Mr. Zain Cynar Mendoza, Operations Quality Assurance Officer of Brokenshire College, extended his gratitude to RTWPB-XI for their time and expertise. He emphasized that the training serves as a valuable refresher for the Brokenshire community, reinforcing the shared responsibility of maintaining a productive and safe work environment.
Mr. Mendoza also noted that the college has established a 7S committee and expressed interest in pursuing future partnerships with RTWPB-XI for additional capacity-building initiatives.
The 7S of Good Housekeeping is one of the basic training programs under the Productivity Toolbox which introduces a workplace organization method consisting of different approaches to maintain a tidy, clutter-free work area that fosters efficiency and improves productivity. (Kenneth Paul Recaña)
