RTWPB-XII-assisted MSME receives P400,000 DOLE-AMP grant

November 24, 2025

City of Koronadal — The RTWPB-XII-assisted micro, small and medium enterprise Diomrie Fruit Food Products Processing received a P400,000 financial grant under the DOLE Adjustment Measures Program (AMP) from DOLE Region XII in Maitum, Sarangani Province on November 20, 2025.

Diomrie plans to use the grant to revive its key chocolate-making machinery and further strengthen its growing farm-to-bar production line.

A Productivity Olympics 2025 Regional Winner, Diomrie was first introduced to the DOLE-AMP by RTWPB-XII as part of the Board’s commitment to helping outstanding MSMEs expand their productivity and resilience. Through the intervention of RTWPB-XII, the enterprise gained access to DOLE’s assistance program, which is designed to help businesses cope with operational challenges and sustain employment.

Under the AMP package, Diomrie received funds for critical upgrades, including new stainless-steel drums and frames, stone rollers, an upgraded control panel, a 2HP motor, and enhanced packaging materials calibrated for humidity and longer shelf life. These improvements are expected to increase production efficiency and support the company’s continued expansion into wider markets.

The assistance also ensures improved workplace conditions, with safer equipment and reduced downtime for employees involved in the production process. Farmers supplying cacao beans to Diomrie are expected to benefit as well, with the enterprise expected to maintain consistent purchasing volumes due to more reliable machinery. [Randy Oliver Legada]
