The RTWPB-XII and the National Conciliation and Mediation Board XII held a training on Productivity-Based Incentive Schemes (PBIS) and an orientation on alternative dispute resolution mechanisms as part of its Area-Wide Convergence on 17-18 June 2025 in General Santos City.
Eighty-six representatives from 46 small, medium, and large enterprises joined the orientation and PBIS training.
Ms. Rosanna Dela Cruz, NWPC Senior Labor and Employment Officer, led the discussion on PBIS. She reminded participants that incentives aligned with productivity empower employees and inspire a culture of excellence.
PBIS is a workplace-initiated program on improving the productivity of workers and enterprises to generate savings or additional revenues, which can be shared by enterprises with their workers.
Ms. Jemeia Mae E. De Eyoy, Conciliator-Mediator of NCMB XII, discussed the different alternative dispute resolution mechanisms to empower companies with practical approaches to settle disputes peacefully and proactively.
“When we invest in communication and alternative dispute resolution, we build not just peace at work, but trust that lasts”, said Eyoy.
