Butuan City – The RTWPB-III (Caraga) successfully produced six (6) micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as national finalists in the 2025 Productivity Olympics, a biennial competition of the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC).
The six MSMEs who were chosen as national finalist are the following: (1) Amamio Farm Products from Agusan del Norte; (2) Alameda Farm from Surigao del Sur; (3) Janicahh Food Products Corporation from Agusan del Sur; (4) Kirk’s Bread and Pastry House from Surigao del Sur; (5) Allen Stick and Trading from Agusan del Sur; and (6) Southway College of Technology from Agusan del Sur.
Dr. Allen Salvatierra, owner of Allen Stick and Trading, expressed heartfelt gratitude to RTWPB Caraga for its unwavering support. “It’s my second time to be chosen as a national finalist, first back in 2023. Because of this recognition, opportunities to support my business came in, such as the Adjustment Measures Program of DOLE, which provided financial assistance to help enhance our operations,” he shared.
The finalists underwent a rigorous evaluation process, including interviews conducted on August 26, 2025, by a National Judging Panel composed of representatives from government agencies, labor and management sectors, and industry experts.
The culmination of the competition is set for October 1, 2025 in Taguig City, Metro Manila. Winners will be honored for their exemplary contributions to productivity and sustainable enterprise development.
