RTWPB-VIII recently approved Wage Order No. RB VIII-21 granting a P20 basic pay increase for the private sector workers in Eastern Visayas.

The P20 increase will be implemented in two tranches: P10 for the first six months upon effectivity of the wage order and an additional P10 starting on the seventh month from effectivity of said wage order.

The new wage order allows exemption only for establishments adversely affected by calamities such as natural and human-induced disasters and those that are prescribed by existing laws and guidelines.
